Assut de Lledó
Perhaps one of the most unknown natural spaces in the region. Between Lledó and Arenys de Lledó we find this place of great beauty which is the bank of the river Algars, another of the rivers that rise in the Ports and flow into the Ebro. The construction of an ancient irrigation dam has created a large swimming pool, which together with those dug by the river over time, make up a very special place to unwind! If you pay attention and remain silent you can see in action all kinds of wildlife such as river turtles, otters and different types of birds.
How to arrive?
To get to the Assut de Lledó you have to take the road to Horta de Sant Joan des Arnés. We will find on the road a turnoff on the left that indicates Lledó. Following the road and when you reach the bridge follow the sign that says “Zona de Banys".
